Registration Information
The Deschutes Dash Weekend Sports Festival Dates are Saturday, July 14 and Sunday July 15, 2012. Visit the schedule page to see the breakdown of events on each day.

How to register
We are continuing our commitment to reduce waste, recycle and in other ways contribute to a healthy environment and therefore offer online registration.

Triathlon, duathlon, aquabike registration fees
Entry fee includes a custom, insulated cooler with the Deschutes Dash logo, professional chip timing, post-race food and Deschutes Brewery beer (for those over 21), age group awards three-deep in each age group and a custom medal for every finisher plus an awesome, spectator friendly race course. Plus, the famous down-current swim for the triathletes!
Note: online registration will close on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at midnight and re-open at packet pick-up on Friday, July 13th.

Junior participants (under 18 years old) MUST purchase an annual USAT membership. Visit the USAT Membership Page online to register prior to registering for the Deschutes Dash. You will be immediately given a USAT number that you can use during the registration process.
5K and 10K run registration fees
Note: The youngest age allowed to participate in the 10K run is 12 years old. Ages 10 and over may participate in the 5K run!

COPAKids Splash ‘N Dash (for kids under 10 years old)
COPAKids Splash ‘N Dash Entry fee includes a custom bib number, finisher’s medal and special t-shirt. ALL proceeds benefit The Center Foundation!

Parents can register kids for the Splash ‘N Dash up until one-hour before the event (12:00pm). Race-day registration will take place near the start of the race in The Old Mill. Please note that t-shirts are not guaranteed to late registrants, so register early!
Refund & transfer policy
We understand that plans change and circumstances happen, but entry fees are nonrefundable and cannot be transferred to another athlete.
Athletes may transfer their entry to a different event during the 2012 Deschutes Dash weekend sports festival (e.g., Olympic triathlon to Olympic duathlon), however a $20 transfer fee or the difference in race entry fees will apply, whichever is greater. If an athlete is transferring to an event less expensive (e.g., triathlon to 10K run) no transfer fee will apply however the difference in race entry fees will not be refunded.
Athletes may receive a 50% refund (minus service fees) of their entry fee only due to medical reasons (including Splash ‘N Dash participants) if the request and a physician’s note is received prior to June 1, 2012. If you cannot participate, you are welcome to come to packet pick-up to receive your bib number, goody bag and/or other items you purchased in advance or that come with registration. We are happy to mail your goodies to you post-race, but ask that you send in a written request to the Deschutes Dash Race Director and a check for $10 to Lay It Out Events, Inc., 704 NW Georgia Street, Bend, OR 97701. You can also pick up your packet and goodies at our office for two weeks post-race at our Bend office as well. After June 1, 2012 absolutely no refunds or transfers will be possible.
